At The Treasure Pop, we respect the tradition of the perfect Catfish roast. We start with fresh catfish, meticulously cleaned with lemon and salt to ensure a pristine taste. The fish is then bathed in our “Liquid Gold” marinade—a spicy, aromatic blend of roasted peppers, onions, ginger, and traditional herbs. It is slow-grilled over heat to ensure the flesh is buttery-soft and literally melts off the bone, while the skin absorbs the smoky, fiery essence of the grill.

Note: Catfish is naturally oily and tender, making it perfect for those who love rich, deep flavors. Please specify your spice level (Mild, Medium, or “Proper Naija” Hot) in the order notes.
Ingredients
Protein: Whole Fresh Catfish.
Marinade: Red Bell Peppers, Scotch Bonnet (Atarodo), Onions, Ginger, Garlic, Pure Vegetable Oil, and Lemon.
Seasoning: Traditional Pepper Soup Spices (for that authentic depth), Seasoning Cubes, and Salt.
Storage & Reheating
Storage: Best enjoyed fresh off the grill. If necessary, keep refrigerated (0–5°C) and consume within 24 hours.
Reheating: To preserve the tender texture, reheat in an oven or air fryer at 180°C for 6–10 minutes. If using a microwave, cover the fish to keep it moist and heat for 3 minutes.
