The Treasure Pop Stew Collection: Rich, Savory, & Versatile
The Treasure Pop Taste
A great Nigerian stew cannot be rushed. At The Treasure Pop, we follow the traditional method of “bleaching” the oil slightly before slow-frying our blended pepper base for hours. This process removes the tartness of the tomatoes and replaces it with a mellow, savory sweetness and a rich texture that clings perfectly to rice, yam, or swallow.
Choose Your Treasure:
Plain Stew: The perfect canvas. Use it to pair with your own proteins at home or as a base for Jollof and pasta.
Chicken Stew: Features succulent, seasoned chicken pieces that have been fried or grilled before being tucked into the sauce.
Fish Stew: Delicate yet flavorful, using fried fish steaks that soak up the spicy tomato oils.
Assorted Meat Stew: The ultimate variety—tender tripe, pomo, and beef chunks for a textured, hearty experience.
Beef Stew: Classic, tender chunks of beef slow-cooked until they are “stew-soft” and flavorful.
Quantity: Available in 2-Litre and 4-Litre large-format bowls. Note: Our stews are prepared at a Medium-Hot spice level by default. If you require a milder or extra-spicy version, please let us know in the order notes.
