The Treasure Pop Pepper Soup Collection: Bold, Spicy, & Restorative
The Treasure Pop Taste
There is Pepper Soup, and then there is The Treasure Pop Pepper Soup. We don’t just boil meat; we craft a medicinal, flavor-packed elixir. Our broth is a labor of love, simmered for hours with traditional “four-corner” spices, toasted calabash nutmeg (Ehuru), and the smoky heat of Uda pods. Every spoonful delivers a sophisticated balance of spicy, herbal, and savory notes that dance on the tongue.
Choose Your Treasure:
Assorted Meat: A carnivore’s dream. A rich medley of tender tripe (shaki), cow skin (pomo), and beef chunks, all slow-cooked until they soak up the spicy broth.
Fresh Catfish: The “Point-and-Kill” classic. Fresh, succulent catfish steaks that add a natural sweetness to the spicy soup—light, fragrant, and incredibly fresh.
Hard Chicken: For those who love deep, traditional flavor. We use tough, flavorful chicken that stands up to the long simmering process, resulting in a broth that is exceptionally rich.
Quantity: Available in 2-Litre and 4-Litre large-format bowls. Note: Please notify us of your preferred spice level (Mild, Medium, or “Proper Naija” Hot) in the order notes.
Ingredients
The Broth: Secret Treasure Pop Spice Blend (Ehuru, Uda, Uziza), Ginger, Garlic, Onions, and Scotch Bonnet.
Proteins: Your choice of Assorted Beef Cuts, Fresh Catfish, or Hard Chicken.
Finish: Fresh Scent Leaves (or Uziza leaves) for that unmistakable aromatic finish.
Storage & Reheating
Storage: Keep refrigerated (0-5°C) and consume within 48 hours. This soup freezes beautifully—simply thaw and simmer to bring the flavors back to life.
Reheating: For the best experience, pour into a pot and bring to a gentle boil on the stove. If using a microwave, heat in a deep bowl for 3–5 minutes until piping hot.
